Shilpa Shetty is receiving brickbats in abundance on the UK reality-show ‘Big Brother’. But in spite of being called a "f*****g Paki" (by participant Jack Tweed), a "dog" (by Danielle Lloyd) and "that Indian" (by Jackie Budden ) in the sarcastic taunting sense on the show, the actress has maintained a dignified silence.

"I admit it's racist and that she's being targeted for her Asian origin. But look at the positive side. Most UK people are sympathizing with her," remarks her spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar. He is confident that the actress will not let such setbacks hamper her chances on the show. "Shilpa is a very strong-willed person, while all these brickbats are nothing but a result of insecurity of other participants. If not, they wouldn't have even bothered to make her the main topic of discussion on the show," he adds.
